BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Central Region

The dial is mounted on a slim cylindrical pillar set on a millstone. It is a cube with E, S and W dials, with the date 1699 across the top of the south side and initials T C and J A and a crest on the north side. Roman numerals are used, with ’+’ for noon on the south face. Hour lines and gnomons are in good condition. There is decoration below the lower corners of the cube.
