BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lothian Region

The dial stands on a downward tapering cylindrical column with a fluted top, about 900 high. It is an octagonal block with four vertical octagonal faces (N, S, E & W), with square reclining and inclining facets above and below, and between these one square small facet with hexagonal reclining and inclining facets above and below; and a horizontal top. There are dials on all available surfaces (25 dials). Hour lines are not visible. There are open-work gnomons on the N, S, E & W faces and on the horizontal dial; the remainder are missing.
