BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Central Region

This is a vertical south facing dial with a hand holding the rod gnomon. The dial plate is set on the face of a mitre-shaped granite block which is part of a granite column bearing brass plaques with inscriptions. The monument is a memorial to William Stirling Keir who died in 1793.
