Dial in Strathclyde Region

This is a circular vertical dial carved in relief on a stone slab representing a 60° segment of a circle. The hour lines are in deep relief but the numerals are engraved. The sculptured figure of a lady supports the dial from the back and leans over the top with one hand on the gnomon. The dial is mounted on a triangular section pillar with "Celtic" decoration, on a square base and a round step, about 240 high overall.
