Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Auld Brig, Ayr

A circular horizontal carved on a square stone slab. The hour lines and numerals are engraved and clear. The gnomon is broken, with only a one inch stub remaining. The dial is mounted on the parapet of the bridge and held by a tripod of iron legs which support one of the bridge’s street lamps.
