BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Museums Service Store, Haddington

The dial was previously at Lennoxlove, and before that it was at Barr, Renfrewshire. Octagonal dial about 1.5 feet high with upper sloping surface, all 16 surfaces bearing dials, including bowl hollows N, S, E, W with metal gnomons; horizontal dial on top; lines and numerals clear. Inscribed with initials D. M. G and date 1679. Ref: A R Somerville, Proc Soc Antiq Scot, 117, 1987, "The Ancient Sundials of Scotland".
