BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

King’s Park, Glasgow

Octagonal drum with 2 facets on each side with 8 vertical doals, sunk dials E & W where noses of carved faces act as gnomons; Coats of Arms and Heraldic devices, surmounted by carved obelisk supported by 4 bearded heads, and resting on 4 winged figures. The whole structure is 15 ft high. A 19th century copy of the dial at Newbattle Abbey (SRN 1493), made for Lord Home at Douglas Castle in 1889; Coats of Arms of Douglas family. Ball and finial on top missing.
