BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Tayside Region

The dial is a pentagonal section block about 1.5 ft high, with five vertical dials and five triangular sections sloping above and below with dials, 15 dials in all. Many lines and numerals are clear but gnomons are stumps only. The dial was dismounted for safety and lying beside a shed (in 1986) Ref: A R Somerville, Proc Soc Antiq Scot, 117, 1987, "The Ancient Sundials of Scotland".
