BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Balbirnie Park, Glenrothes

Dials on all four octagonal faces, with gnomon stumps remaining on E, S and W. The ball finial is marked as a dial but is 90 deg out of alignment. The dial was originally at Kirkforthar House. Ref: A R Somerville, Proc Soc Antiq Scot, 117, 1987, "The Ancient Sundials of Scotland"
