BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Lawrence Church., Napton-on-the-Hill

To find a sundial above the priest’s door is unusual though mass dials are commonly found at the sides of its doorway. The dial plate is of iron measuring 300mm x 400mm and it is likely that the dial was painted on it. There is nothing to see there now. The chunky gnomon has an S-shaped supporter. There are two mass dials on the South transept.
