BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary, Middle Tysoe

The vertical dial on the church here declines 5° East but the stone dial plate has nothing to show the observer today. It is probable that the dial was painted on the stone as there is no sign of any engraving. A slightly different appearnce of the stone around the edge suggests that there was once a painted border. The iron gnomon is still in a serviceable state. The dial plate measures 600mmw x 800mmh.
