BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, Whatcote

On the stepped pillar of a churchyard cross about 5 metres high is a cube sundial with 250mm square faces. A stone ball crowns the cube. None of the faces show any trace of numerals or hour lines and it is possible that the dials were simply painted on the stone. The East and South gnomons survive and we can see the mounting holes for the other two.
