Church of St Mary the Virgin, Osgathorpe

The dial is on the left hand side of the path up to the church north entrance, on entering the churchyard. It is a cube with a horizontal dial and north, south, west and east faces, all with gnomons, though the south gnomon is fitted upside down, and the top gnomon is just a low rectangle. All faces are extremely worn and the top is overgrown with moss. Markings on the east and west faces are generally poor. The south and north faces show hour lines and traces of Arabic numerals. The dial is mounted on a cylindrical stone column 750h, tilting slight to the north. The dial was reported to be missing in January 2020.
