BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Saviour’s Church., Foremark

There are three dials on this church, this one is on the central buttress. None of the dials are in good condition. It appears that this is cut into one of the stones of the church wall. There are seven declination lines, here marked with zodiac sigils (symbols). The tip of the gnomon appears to have a notch which might be a nodus, the shadow of which would indicate the declination. The three dials on this church appear to be by the same maker, a keen but not too clever artisan.
