BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Church, Stretton-en-le-Field

The dial is incised into the stonework of the second buttress of the nave, to the right hand side of the south porch, about 1800 above ground level. The gnomon consists of metal plates rivetted together. The chapter ring is a circular arc, with Roman numerals for 6am to 6pm, though these are both below the horizontal. 4pm is IV. ’NOON’ is inscribed far below the chapter ring, and below the lower end of the gnomon, both clearly later additions.
