BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Wilfrid’s Church, Old Arley

The dial is set into the stonework pf the parapet above the south porch. It is now completely overshadowed by a yew tree beside the porch. The paint is worn and much of the dial surface is flaking away. However it can be seen that it originally showed the hours from 5am to 6pm divided into halves and quarters. No other markings or numerals are visible. The iron gnomon has a single strut support with scrolled infills.
