St Mary’s Parish Church., Stoneleigh

Canted on the south-west corner buttress of the tower, this dial shows the hours VII - VI, with faint half-hour lines. In spite of the lead capping there is damage to the top and the lower left corner with the loss of some numerals. It appears to be a slate dial with faint traces of gilding of the numerals. The iron gnomon has an S-shaped supporter.
