BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

The dial sits below a first floor window in the south gable end. It shows 7am to 5pm in hours, with a cross for noon. It has an owl design in the top left and a griffin in the top right, and the motto reads: "SOL GLORIA MUNDI" (The sun is the glory of the world).
