BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Denys’ Parish Church, Cold Ashby

The dial is set into stonework close to the south-east corner of the nave, just below the roof line. It is very eroded, but the name ’William W?kes.?’, probably a church warden, could be read along the top of the dial plate in 1993, with the date 1703. It shows 6am to 6pm in half hours, with a cross for noon.
