BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Farthingstone

The dial is on a south facing buttress. The motto reads: "Ex Hoc Memento / Pendet Aeternitas". Arabic numerals 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. The dial has been re-delineated at some time, with hour lines re-drawn and most hour numerals now duplicated. Finger eded strip gnomon with supporter. Initials, possibly ’ J F ’ are to the right of the gnomon toe, with the date below. Four hole fixing to wall.
