BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old House (1) and (2), Harlestone

The house is on the A428. The motto is spread across both dials and reads Watch and Pray - The hour is at hand". Two dials here, black furniture on white painted ground, arranged around a corner. Both use XII and IIII. Numerals arranged vertically. [(1) is the SW decliner which Decl 54degs W. Shows 12Noon to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Inward fleurs de lys half hour markers and dots between numerals. Gnomon set at incorrect angle. [2] is the SE decliner which apparently declines 48degs East. Again gnomon is angled from a semicircle and not from the gnomon root. Shows 4am to 4pm in half and quarter hours similarly marked.
