BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
On the South-West wall of this building there is a vertical dial declining west and dating from 1983. It declines South and shows the hours XI - VII (using XII and IIII) undivided. Between the VI and VII hour lines are the letters BST telling us that dial is sensibly delineated for a dial in England where the Sun in winter is so often absent. There is a sun face at the gnomon root and across the top the motto, "Not without light" and the date . The dial measures 530mm square.
