BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cheshire

Plain circular dial with centre compass showing 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Heavily oxidised. Mounted on unusual rough stone rock pedestal set on large circular brick base. Reported in 1997 as stolen ’2-3 yrs ago’ during building work.
