BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Chequers Inn (1), Weston-on-the-Green

This clear plain dial on the fron wall of the inn had black lines and numerals on a white ground, and showed 6am to 5pm in 30 and 15 min intervals. The gnomon was reported missing in 1995; the dial was in poor condition in 1997; and it was removed in Dec 1999. In March 2000 it was replaced with a wrongly delineated Perspex dial (see SRN 4306).
