BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin’s Church (1), Thame

The dial is on a buttress at the east end of the south transept. The dal face is flaking. A few (slim) numerals can be made out. Uses IV. Shows 6am to 6pm but no hour lines visible. Distinct III below the gnomon support possibly with a semicircle. Could this have been a secondary time scale for another city? Dialplate cracked from this support hole downwards. This dial replaced in 2000.
