BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Square vertical dial on the south-east facing wall of the tower.
The dial is rather stained below its wall brackets and quite lichen-encrusted so not very legible. Although the wall faces south-east, the dial appears to be canted so as to face due south. There are full length hour lines and shorter half hour lines from 6am to 6pm. In the square chapter ring are vertical Roman numerals. They use XII at noon and IIII at 4pm.
The gnomon is a fairly thin strip with a single straight supporter.
Note that the church has many excellent wall paintings, some from the fourteenth century.
