BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Giles’ Church (1), Bletchingdon

Rectangular vertical dial, declining east of south, over the porch. The dial has a semicircle, - perhaps a sun? - around the gnomon root, from which the hour lines radiate. There are also shorter half and quarter hour lines. The narrow rectangular chapter ring has upright Arabic hour numerals from 5am to 4pm. All lines and numerals are incised and Infilled. The gnomon, which may not be original, is a triangle of metal strips. Getting there: From Bletchington village centre, go north east on Weston Road, then New Road. At Tolbrook Corner, turn left. Keep left until you see the churchyard.
