BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cathedral, Dunkeld

A plain dial held in place on the corner tower of the cathedral by three iron dog nails. The date ’1701’ is across the top and hours VI - noon - IIII - VI are shown, with ’+’ for noon. The solid plate gnomon has a lightly decorated lower edge. (See SRN 8534 for the horizontal dial also visible in the old photograph.)
