BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Exhibit. 16-pt compass rose, labelled to ENE etc. Anticlockwise EOT in complete circle. Numerals read from outside IIII - XII - VIII with split noon. Inner ring to 1/8 hours, three-arrow half hours. Outer ring to minutes, numbered in 10s (Arabic), fleur-de-lys half hours. To S, read from N, ’Willm Deane Fecit / in Crane Court Fleet Street / LONDON / 1718’. A fine dial showing clear links to earlier John Rowley and Thomas Tompion dials.
