BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Motto reads: ’I tell the truth or not at all’. Vertical Roman hour numerals III (pm) - IIII - VIII, with half & quarter hour lines. Dial salvaged from hospital demolition in 1986. Now high on west facing gable. Furniture engraved (except motto which is raised) and painted.
