BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

The dial is visible from a road off the B181 going up hill, on the lower part of a projecting bay window on the first floor. The gnomon and dial plate all appear to be wood with gnomon unusually angled from the noon line. Shows 4am to 2pm in 15 mins. Painted with black lines on a white ground. 12 noon marked ’NOON’.
