BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin’s Parish Church, Titchmarsh

Numbers engraved directly on stone blocks of wall. Recorded both as showing 7am to 5pm and as 7-4. Unusual ’shield’ or ’plectrum’ shaped dial with point downwards. Gnomon has two point supporter. Also recorded as being 2ft square. Declination deduced from recorder’s drawing.
