BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Almshouse (former Montagu Hospital) (1), Weekley

Above front door. Motto in scroll below dial hard to decipher. Dial painted on stone. Black numerals on stone ground except for dialplate proper which is (now) orange coloured with light coloured hour lines Scalloped breakarch dialplate with centre boss and date either side. Gnomon root off dial. Shows 4am to 12 noon in hours though some lozenge marks are placed between numerals as if to suggest half hour markings. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals vertically oriented. House dated 1611. Further inscription just above door and crest above that.
