BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Masjid Mosque, Tower Hamlets

High on Gable end. Motto reads: "Umbra sumus". Building has an astonishing history (Huguenot chapel, Christian Mission amongst Jews, Methodist chapel, Synagogue and now a Mosque!) Black furniture on white arched ground. Date in arch. Shows 6am to 6pm in quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Simple open triangular gnomon. Semicircle around root. Numerals vertically arranged.
