BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Royal Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh

Facetted block about 2.5 feet high with north-facing top with equatorial star; south-facing polar hemi-cylinder projecting from cusps of star; other surfaces flat or with various-shaped hollows including bowl (S), hearts, triangles; dials on all available surfaces, octagonal section below with 8 vertical dials. South bowl hollow has signs of the zodiac. All metal gnomons missing. The dial was presented to the Society of Antiquaries by the War Office after the Army vacated Woodhouselee in 1960.
