BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Newliston, Kirkliston

Facetted block about 2 feet high with north-sloping top with equatorial star; upper section of top is horizontal and cusps of star extend to meet it; south-facing polar hemi-cylinder extends only to this horizontal section; large bowl hollow on south and tiny one on polar surface below it; triangular hollows E & W have carved faces whose noses act as gnomons; unusual angular appearance; dials on all available surfaces. Some lines and numerals visible. Mounted on a cylindrical stone column about 4 ft high set on two mill stones.
