BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Neidpath Castle, Peebles

The dial is kept inside the castle, mounted on a wooden plinth, with explanatory texts hanging on the wall nearby. Facetted block about 2 feet high with north-facing top with equatorial star; south-facing polar hemi-cylinder projecting down from the top cusps of the star; other surfaces flat or with various-shaped hollows including bowl (S), hearts (E & W); dials on all available surfaces, lines and figures visible.
