BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Highland Region

The dial rests on a square stone pillar (1.5 ft high), standing on a slightly wider pillar (3 ft high), each with chamfered corners. There is an inscription on the lower section. It s a small facetted block with north-sloping top with equatorial dial (no star); south-facing polar hemi-cylinder, other surfaces flat or with large bowl hollow (east) with bar gnomon and various-shaped hollows on west; dials on all available surfaces including north and south verticals. Numerals and lines in excellent condition; surmounted by a (later) tall metal rod bearing a wind-vane. The dial was well restored recently to 1989, with lines and numerals visible and painted gold, and all metal gnomons present.
