BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Inveresk Lodge Gardens, Inveresk

Facetted block about 1.5 feet high with north-sloping top with equatorial star; south-facing polar hemi-cylinder projecting down from top cusps of star; other surfaces flat or or with various-shaped hollows including hearts and squares; dials on all available surfaces. All metal gnomon present. The dial was originally at Pitreavie. Plinth bears shields with initials of Sir Henry Wardlaw and date.
