BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Tayside Region

The dial rests on a square table with ’egg and dart’ decoration and an almost illegible inscription, standing on a twisted stone column about 3 ft high. It is a small facetted block with north-sloping top with an equatorial dial, no star; south-facing hemi-cylinder replaced by bar and two steps; other surfaces flat or with various-shaped hollows including bowl with iron bar gnomon (west); north and south verticals; dials on all available surfaces.
