BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Stirling Castle (1), Stirling

The shaft only remains, with 3 square panels, the 4th broken, hollows with some metal gnomon stumps. Set up on a low plinth, 2.5 - 3 feet high, in Douglas Garden. In 1986 after damage by frost it was under repair in store, but it has long since been re-erected.
