BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Council Offices, Leven

The original is red sandstone with restorations unfortunately obtrusive in grey sandstone. The shaft has five panels on each side, all hollows having dials. Standard boss with hollows on the corners of an octagonal band, dials on the vertical faces and inclining and reclining faces. The finial has four panels on each side, all marked with S dials in the restoration. All metal gnomons missing. The dial is wrongly oriented, with the S dials facing approx NE.
