BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Central Region

This is the shaft of an obelisk dial, wit a modern horizontal set on top. The shaft has four panels on each side, mostly hollows with dials. It is set up 180° out. Thesquare horizontal uses \roman numerals but no detail can be seen in the photograph. Ref: A R Somerville, Proc Soc Antiq Scot, 117, 1987, "The Ancient Sundials of Scotland", p11 (A12).
