BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Finlaystone House (3), Port Glasgow

This stone block is set directly on the rockery wall. It is too worn to distinguish features clearly. It appears to be of a standard type with corners cut out. The square horizontal dial on top is probably a Victorian addition. A R Somerville, Proc Soc Antiq Scot, 117, 1987, "The Ancient Sundials of Scotland".
