BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lothian Region

The dial is near Dalmeny House. It is in deep shade on the north side of a wood. Shaft: 5 square panels on each side with sinkings & arms. Boss: Standard octagonal band with sloping upper & lower faces, corners cut away, dials on all facets. Finial: 3 panels on each side, no metal gnomons. 6 ft high.
