BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Strathclyde Region

The shaft has five square panels on each side, mostly hollows with dials in stone. The boss has an octagonal band tapering above and below, the corners cut out, with vertical dials on the cardinal faces, cup hollows on the other four, all with dials. The boss is mounted 90° out with respect to the shaft and finial. The finial has eight tapering square panels with 32 reclining dials, the gnomons missing.
