BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

The dial is located on an outside wall of the churchyard. Motto reads: "I count the Sunny Hours". Also has text: ’St Andrew’s Church Kildwick’ Lat 53 54 Long 1 59W. Gnomon badly twisted. Shows 4am to 8pm in quarter hours, using IIII and XII. Aligned Roman numerals, read from inside. Old, square topped cylindrical stone plinth dated 1668 but dial more recent.
