BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bristol Cathedral, Bristol

The dial is on the south transept. Upright numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, with half and quarter hour marks. Motto on the adjacent west face of the rampart reads: "Pereunt & Imputantur". Recently refurbished (reported June 2011). New gnomon possibly gilded.
