BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Isbell Cottage, Trewint

Although the slate horizontal dial in the garden of this cottage bears the date 1750 and the maker’s name John Nelson it is in fact a modern replica dial. John Nelson was a local Cornish sundial maker known to be working around the date on this dial.
