BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Parish Church, Stoke Climsland

Old documents suggest that this church was once dedicated to All Saints but it has no official dedication today. The dial on the porch here is tall and thin because so much space has been allotted to the churchwardens. However, it is the gnomon which first attracts attention since it is inclined far too steeply for the latitude of the place. The date could easily be mistaken for 1852 but it is more probably 1832.
